A Columbia University study says the average adult eats 92% of what’s on their plate. Coca-Cola is now selling 8-ounce glass bottles that are the perfect portion control option with just 100 calories.
Just recently, the soft drink company bought the energy drink company Monster Beverage. Coca-Cola also has other beverages in its portfolio, including Powerade and Minute Maid. The company’s success goes well beyond their signature soft drink and they continue to innovate their brand while adding other products.
According to Advertising Age, Coca-Cola introduced Coca-Cola Life, a reduced-calorie cola the week of Aug. 25 to a few U.S. markets, but will make it available nationwide by October 2014.
Sephora
There’s a brand new Sephora store in town! Located on East 60th street and Lexington Avenue in New York City, the French cosmetics store includes the newest digital technology that helps women find the perfect foundation match. The store also helps customers find a new skin routine and has a variety of fragrances. The 7,000 square-foot location was originally a Levi’s store, but was converted to a brand new Sephora at the end of 2013.
The new store opened during the summer and occupies one of the many large retail spaces in the city.

Once is the eight-time Tony Award winner that has captivated audiences through its love story and it’s delightful soundtrack. This is the must-see Broadway show of the year! The show is based on the 2007 film that starred musicians Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova.
In the award-winning musical, Hansard plays a busker named Guy who meets Girl (played by Irglova) in a busy shopping district in Dublin. The pair get to know each other and eventually fall in love as they continue to write and rehearse songs together.
The Broadway musical opened in 2011, received rave reviews from critics and has won numerous awards from The Outer Critics’ Circle, Drama League, The New York Drama Critics’ Circle and the Tony Awards.

Blue Man Group is the electrifying show that continues to captivate audiences since it opened at the Astor Place Theatre in 1991. According to their website, the Blue Man Group combines music, technology, and comedy to create a form of entertainment that defies categorization and appeals to people of all ages.”
