When General Mills wanted to promote this fun new retro packaging, they looked to Vidicom to create original video content and repurpose their B-Roll from the event to create and distribute a piece via our exclusive capabilities.
Because of our exclusive relationships with network affiliates, Vidicom was able to create and place branded content on Good Morning America, CBS This Morning, and Good Day Fox. We also distributed it to ABC Family, Bravo, Lifetime, E!, WE, Oxygen, OWN The Oprah Winfrey Network, TV Guide Network, Discovery Health & Fit, Great American Country, Lifetime Movie Network, Biography Network, UP, and Centric TV.
The segment was hosted by Deb Geigis Berry, one of our talented spokespeople. Deb frequently appears on television to share family-friendly activity tips and strategies. As a spokesperson and contributing editor for Disney's FamilyFun Magazine, she has swapped inside travel tips with Cindy Crawford on ABC's "Good Morning America," and reports on travel, cooking with kids, holiday celebrations, and other family topics for CBS, Fox, CNN, and CNN Headline News. Deb is the author of the travel guidebook, "FamilyFun New England," and recently drove an RV across country with her family to promote her book and others in Disney's new guidebook series. She has recently consolidated her ideas on www.familyadventuremom.com, which she hopes readers will use as a resource.
It’s also fun how the cereal boxes convert into a mask! Halloween is right around the corner, after all. Time to start planning those costumes! This year, I want to dress like a skeleton! But a nice one, not a scary one.
It’s amazing how cereal fits into a family’s life. When a young kid wakes up in the morning, they immediately run downstairs for breakfast. A quick look into the cabinet shows little Jimmy’s favorite box of Boo Berry! He pours a little too much in the bowl (but can you really blame him? It’s delicious!) and runs into the living room, parks on the floor in front of the TV, and watches saturday morning cartoons! Amazing how that whole ritual is based so closely around the bowl of cereal he’s eating.
It was a pleasure creating this piece for General Mills and we look forward to seeing it air on TV. We also look forward to eating the delicious cereal and snacks they left behind - The Vidicom team definitely has a sweet tooth!
